Welcome Back to Mercer Union
Mercer Union is open for walk-in visits to view Onyeka Igwe’s exhibition, THE REAL STORY IS WHAT’S IN THAT ROOM. Our gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM – 6 PM.
We are happy to accommodate private visits outside of regular gallery hours; please reach out by email at email@example.com to request an appointment.
Health and safety measures at Mercer Union include:
- Gallery capacity limited to 15 visitors at a time
- Physical distancing and signage
- Hand sanitizer and disposable masks available on site
- Additional cleaning of high touch surfaces
In accordance with Toronto Public Health, please prepare for your visit by:
- Bringing and wearing a mask at all times in the premises
- Self-assessing before coming to the gallery
- Postponing your visit if you are not feeling well

Mercer Union is a proud part of the Bloor and Lansdowne Art District. Our neighbours include MOCA, Gallery TPW, Daniel Faria Gallery, Robert Kananaj Gallery and Clint Roenisch Gallery, all on and around St Helens Avenue, and further north, Arsenal Toronto/Division Gallery, Franz Kaka and Patel/Brown Gallery.

Mercer Union is located at 1286 Bloor Street West (one block east of Lansdowne Avenue) on the north side, at the corner of St Clarens Avenue.
Mercer Union is located one block east of the Lansdowne TTC station on the Bloor Line. Take the Lansdowne exit and turn left, then left again onto Bloor Street, Mercer Union is on your left hand side at the next corner.
The Lansdowne 47 bus stops at the Lansdowne TTC station, travelling both North and South. Walk south to Bloor, turn left and walk East, we are located one block east of Bloor and Lansdowne.
There is a parking lot located just north of the Lansdowne TTC station on the east side of Lansdowne Avenue. This is a three-minute walk from the gallery.
We can be reached easily by bike if you are travelling East or West on Bloor Street. Located a couple of blocks west of Dufferin St and one block east of Lansdowne. Mercer Union has bike parking both out front and beside the gallery.
