Laurel Woodcock’s Untitled (playlist for Bas Jan Ader) is the first in a series of poster editions that delineate the practice of some of Woodcock’s favourite artists through song titles. Like the compilation tape or CD of previous technical eras, the playlist is a considered dedication to Ader with titles that range from Aretha Franklin’s “Drowning in My Own Tears” to the Liars’ “Grown Men Don’t Fall in the River, Just Like That,” stamped in blue foil that echoes the cover of Ader’s survey catalogue Please Don’t Leave Me published by Museum Biojmans Van Beuningen (2006).
