Toronto artist Luis Jacob, featured in Mercer Union’s discreet peephole space, connects Horton’s and Breitz’ cinematic sampling to DJ culture, with a videowork, titled Mirror Ball, that appropriates a Parliament Funk song. Jacob is also exhibiting a companion work concurrently at The Case Studies, Harbourfront Centre.
