A Mercer Union Afternoon Social
Saturday 12 March, 2 PM
MERCER UNION is pleased to announce SPIKED TEA, a new
fundraising initiative presenting guests with a twist on the time-honoured ritual of afternoon tea.
Toronto’s art lovers will be enchanted by the unique opportunity to be welcomed to Mercer by a select group of Canadian artists who will host tables they have designed and decorated especially for the occasion. An artful and intimate experience, each artist will bring their installation to life for their table of eight guests. Patrons will then be invited to mingle and take in the rest of the presentations.
Our guests will be offered a lunch box of sweets and savouries – a menu of scrumptious high tea accompaniments by local culinary creatives, an elegant and eclectic portfolio of teas with meticulously chosen liquor pairings.
Our artist-host luminaries include:
Anthea Black, Bill Burns, Atom Deguire & Cameron Lee, Paulette Phillips, Alison Kobayashi, CN Tower Liquidation, Alex Wolfson and Bojana Stancic, Emily Vey Duke, Jon McCurley, Mark Dudiak,
… and others
