Xandra Eden will discuss her recent projects in relation to accepted
conceptions of art history, mutations in popular culture, and the question
of reciprocity between artistic and curatorial practice in exhibitions.
Xandra Eden is assistant curator for The Power Plant, Toronto. Her recent
exhibitions include The Cave and the Island, White Columns, New York, NY and
Galerie Kunstbuero, Vienna, Austria (2004); Republic of Love, The Power
Plant, Toronto (2003); Christian Jankowski: Rosa, Mercer Union, Toronto
(2002); and In Through the Out Door, The Power Plant, Toronto (2002). She
has written for Artext, Border Crossings, Flash Art, and Parachute among
other publications.
