We have been closely monitoring the evolving situation regarding COVID-19, with the health and well-being of our artists, staff, community and collaborators in mind. 

Following the guidelines of Canada Public Health officials, including a recommendation to avoid large gatherings, we have decided to postpone our opening reception for Native Art Department International: Bureau of Aesthetics. 

According to Public Health Officials, the immediate risk from COVID-19 is considered low in Canada. Mercer Union and the exhibition space will remain open during our regular public hours; the exhibition Bureau of Aesthetics on view from 14 March – 31 May 2020 as planned.
