Based in Toronto, Nadia Belerique constructs installations of primarily sculpture and photography that engage with the poetics of perception and question how images perform in contemporary culture. She received her MFA from the University of Guelph and has exhibited at such venues as Grazer Kunstverein, Graz (2018); Oakville Galleries (2018); the Art Gallery of Hamilton (2015); The Power Plant (2015), and Gallery TPW (2014), Toronto; and Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna (2014). Belerique was long-listed for the 2017 Sobey Art Award and is represented by Daniel Faria Gallery, Toronto, where she has a forthcoming exhibition, September 2019.
