Matthew Higgs will give a lecture considering certain aspects of recent British Art, exploring the phenomena of the ‘yBa’ (‘young British artists’) and the development of independent artist initiated projects throughout the 1990s, including the work of the artist Jeremy Deller and Higgs’ own ongoing publishing project Imprint 93.
