Biographies Katharine Harvey has a B.F.A. from Queen's University and an M.F.A. from the University of Victoria. She has exhibited her work in Toronto at Phoebe Street Project, York Quay Centre1s Case Studies, Edward Day Gallery, AGO Art Rental, Archive Gallery, Cold City and Garnet Press, and will show at Stride Gallery in Calgary next year. She lives in Toronto. Stacey Lancaster received her M. F. A. from York University in 1996 and has shown at the Power Plant, Toronto (1996); White Columns, NYC (1997); Brasilica, Vienna, (1999); and New Langton Arts, San Francisco (2000). She lives in Brooklyn where she makes videos and cast-iron marine stoves. Arthur Kleinjan lives and works in Rotterdam. He has exhibited in the Netherlands and Canada. The video showing at Mercer Union was made in Toronto during a residency in 1999. Next year he will spend most of his time at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, where he will prepare a solo exhibition for Berlin, Germany. He is presenting his new publication, Paris Looks, during the opening of Placecards at Mercer Union. Germaine Koh is a Canadian visual artist and curator of no fixed address. Recent solo exhibitions include Arte in Situ, Mexico City; Latitude 53, Edmonton; Ex Teresa Arte Actual, Mexico City; and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions. 1999/2000 group exhibitions include La Biennale de Montréal 2000; Recollection Project, Gendai Gallery, Toronto; Logo City, Blackwood Gallery, University of Toronto; Waste Management, Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto; and In All the Wrong Places, Ottawa Art Gallery.

Jennifer McMackon is a Toronto-based artist. Currently her work is also on
view at La Centrale Galerie Powerhouse in Montréal.
Chris Sollars is a San Francisco-based artist who grew up in Indiana and
Maine. Chris graduated in 1998 with a B.F.A. in sculpture from the Rhode
Island School of Design and held residence at the Skowhegan School of
Painting and Sculpture. Two recent solo projects include: a video
installation of Landscapes presented by Art Node at the Aurlander
International Airport in Stockholm, Sweden this past winter, and in April,
Recent Video in Brooklyn at Parlour Projects.
Amy Wilson was born and raised in New York and Los Angeles. She studied
media arts at The Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington, and film and
photography at The San Francisco Art Institute. Recent exhibitions include
The Carpets of Las Vegas at The Koffler Gallery, Portraits of Plastic
Flowers at Plastica Gallery in Los Angeles, and Humouresque at The Floating
Gallery, Winnipeg.
